A very interesting article on how the underdogs can win if they think unconventionally:

Finished!

So it’s finally over. I am graduating from RIT tomorrow (w/ honors!) and it’ll be the end of a very interesting 5 year period. So what am I doing afterward?
I’ll be in good old South Jersey for the summer doing a lot of things actually:
1. Working on my Programming/Game Dev portfolio [...]

“‘Noob’ could well be the millionth word in the English language – a milestone set to be reached within the coming weeks.
The news comes directly from the Global Language Monitor that estimates the millionth word in the English language is set to arrive on June 10th, 2009 at 10:22 am, British Summer Time.

Some Guy Gets A Blizzard-Only WoW Item, Goes On WoW Rampage

From Kotaku:
“A World of Warcraft subscriber has accidentally been given a powerful in-game item normally reserved for internal testing. And what’d he do with it? Why, he used it.
Yes, instead of doing the right thing and returning the item (”Martin Fury”, an in-game shirt), he kept it and went out on a bit of a [...]

Economic StimuLAN

The LAN party I went to on campus was pretty good. Played some TF2 and L4D and I somehow won the Unreal Tournament III tourney. Funny thing is, I had only played it once for 20 minutes after I installed it and never played it again until the LAN.

Sweet hard drive deal!

Guitar Hero Metallica is HARD

Metallica came out yesterday and I’m loving every second of it. It is so insanely hard for both Drums and Guitar. Dave (Mr. Kingoflight) quite appropriately labeled it the ITG of band games.
Here’s me sightreading the Expert+ chart for Blood and Thunder. (Expert+ is a new difficulty mode for drums which feature heavy double bass [...]

14 Days

These last two weeks have been the most eventful, perhaps crucial weeks of the year. I’ve patched things up with some old friends, made some exciting new ones, finished watching Battlestar Galactica *sniff*, actually went to a party that I enjoyed, rediscovered my fascination with Computer Graphics and Astronomy, finally resubbed for Warhammer Online [...]

Twitt’ah

So I made a Twitter account.

Fallout 3

So 6 weeks after I purchased Fallout 3 I’m finally installing it. We’ll see how long it takes me to beat this one, six months, a year? ….Never? Why can’t I finish games anymore? =(

I’m on TV… AGAIN

A local NBC news station did a segment on my job. You can see me at my desk for like two seconds.

Flobots – Handlebars

I can’t get this song out of my head:

Hundreds Attend Global Warming Protest

=)

NY Comiccon 2009

It was a lot of fun minus all of the traveling involved (not fun by yourself!). It was like the perfect mix between Digital Life and an anime convention – A place where technology and fantasy collide.
Highlight of the con for me was winning the Warhammer RvR tournament. They made us do two [...]

Some guy estimated how much it would cost in modern times to build a Death Star. Apparently $15 Septillion – That’s 24 Zeros..
